Mid-Back Pain…

The middle of your spine provides openings for nerves which provide vital communication to many of the organs and functions taking place in your midsection. Your body is designed to take very good care of this section, so this portion of your spine is attached to your ribs which help stabilize the spine as well as provide additional protection for the organs in this area. Even though this area of your spine, by design, doesn’t move much, any movement can be extremely painful and quite serious as it affects the nerve supply to vital organs. Poor posture, poor muscle strength, mini-traumas and even inactivity due to surgery or bed rest can take their toll on this area of the spine. Proper alignment and periodic chiropractic adjustments should be maintained in order to enjoy optimal health.
